FightWatchr Update: Enhanced Rankings and Fighter Tracking
Rankings Updates
FightWatchr's rankings system has been overhauled with several key improvements. A new three-tier evidence ceiling has been introduced to provide more accurate rankings, and margin-aware ranked wins have been implemented to give more credit to fighters who win by larger margins.
The rankings system now also takes into account the type of win, with confirmed wins receiving more weight than inferred wins. Additionally, the system has been calibrated to remove biases and provide more accurate rankings.
Fighter Tracking Updates
Fighter tracking has been enhanced with the addition of a media/meta source toggle, allowing users to switch between different sources of information. Fighter names are now also wrapped instead of truncated, making it easier to read and identify fighters.
Other updates include improvements to the notification system, with the addition of a bell dropdown and indexing for faster loading. The chat system has also been improved with the addition of a rate limiter and fixes for dashboard chat.
